comparethemarket.com are looking for a Relationship Manager to develop and manage sustainable relationships with our partners to help us to deliver our commercial priorities and objectives, ensuring that we are able to transform and own comparison, and making comparethemarket.com the best comparison site with which to do business.
To achieve this, you will consistently deliver ‘best in class’ account management to insurance partners and brands of our core panel propositions, including car, home, van, pet and bike insurance. This will involve successfully initiating and concluding contractual and commercial negotiations with existing (and in some cases new) partners in order to achieve key revenue targets.
What will it take?
You’ll have been performing a relationship management role and have experience of maximising commercial value from existing relationships. You’ll bring considerable insight to this role from your previous experience of relationship building and have a demonstrable track record of successful delivery, preferably with a good understanding of General Insurance (GI) and internet distribution channels.
Coupled with this, your strong motivation, drive and excellent communication skills will shine through, as will your negotiation and influencing skills.
As a minimum, we’re on the lookout for someone that shows expertise in managing sales performance in an account management capacity, can effectively engage at all levels and prove their competency managing multiple and competing task in a fast-paced but rewarding environment.
Your typical week will involve client meetings either at comparethemarket.com or at client’s sites, spread throughout the UK.
