The Data Strategy Lead will lead our team of Master Data Analysts to ensure we have good quality, well maintained core data about people, properties and businesses to support the organisation and our residents. Your experience of working to manage, join and analyse data will help you champion the role of data in helping us to better understand our residents and their needs. You will have knowledge of our how local authorities manage and maintain their core property data and what opportunities exist to build indices to maintain other core data sets of people and businesses.
We’re looking for someone who can lead by example in helping the team by spotting opportunities to better use our joined up master data sets to support business processes and expert analytics. You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of how we can match data from a range of sources, understand its implications and share it in a way that helps improve our services and the people relying on them.
We need someone who can help us shape our data strategy, with ideas on how we document our work and make sure our processes for managing data are robust and reusable. You will be experienced in working in complex business environments and able to focus on delivering, while also adapting to fast pace change.
We are a collaborative team and we need someone who can offer coaching and mentoring not just to your direct reports but across the wider team in how to make best use of information as an asset.
