Around the world, children are living with trauma and disease. The impact on their life chances can be devastating. The individual child is where we start.
One to One Children’s Fund trains and empowers people who can best fill the critical gaps in care for those children – mothers, peers who have experienced the same challenges, and community health workers. We ensure babies are born free from HIV, bring vital healthcare directly into the homes of vulnerable families, and help young people to overcome stigma and loneliness. Our ground-breaking programmes give children the opportunity to lead healthy and fulfilling lives. We rigorously monitor results so the model can scale up and be integrated into government to ensure sustainable change.
We are currently looking for a highly motivated and well-organised individual to act as the hub for our office administration and finances, and work closely with our Accountant. As the first point of contact for the organisation, you will thrive in a busy environment and enjoy being part of a small collaborative team.
The role does not involve any staff management, and you will be happy to be hands on, work on your own initiative and be keen to grasp the opportunities that arise in working for a dynamic organisation.
You will have at least two years general and finance administration experience, ideally in a charity, and will enjoy working in a busy and varied role.
Our ideal candidate will be highly numerate, extremely efficient and organized, with strong IT skills, and the willingness and ability to run an office. A part-qualified accountant is highly desirable, as is experience of maintaining a financial database, although we would be interested to hear from candidates who feel their experience qualifies them for the role.
If you're looking for a broad operational role in a great small charity, we'd love to hear from you.
Please see attached the full job description and to apply please send your CV and covering letter via the application method below.
Please note, as this is as an urgent requirement we will be interviewing potentially suitable candidates as they come in, so please apply online as soon as possible if you are interested in being considered.
