Marketing Communications Manager - Open to flex working - Peterborough
What's the challenge?
We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and influential Marketing Communications Manager to join our comparethemarket.com division at the BGL Group. Working alongside the Senior Manager in developing integrated marketing communications and creative strategies, you will be responsible for the smooth execution and implementation of our much loved ATL marketing campaigns.
As a Marketing Communications Manager, you will be responsible for executing through the line marketing plans, ensuring consistent delivery across customer touch points. Within this role you get the exciting opportunity to help creatively develop our infamous brand character narrative, working closely with their creators, both from a creative agency & animation agency perspective.
This role plays a crucial role in driving a cross-functional campaign delivery team and encouraging collaboration across the business and with our marketing agencies, such as our brand media planning team, our CRM team, our UX design team, our creative agency, our media agency…. The list goes on, with a wealth of knowledge and experience to learn from!
Owning and managing the relationship with Legal and Compliance, you will work with our Legal & Compliance team to ensure all comms adhere to all regulatory requirements such as FCA’s rules and principle. Furthermore you will be responsible for the reporting of campaign production spend in accordance with the finance process to effectively manage the marketing cost centre.
What will it take to be successful?
- Previous Campaign management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ideally, multi-channel marketing skills including TV and online
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver within agreed timeframes
- Understanding of campaign metrics and commercial impact
- Naturally an innovative and creative individual
- Understanding of project management
- Self-starter with a can do and team player attitude.
