Finance & Administration Assistant - 4/5 days; open to flexibility
This is a newly created role that would suit someone with experience of working in a finance support role who is also keen to make use of their strong administration, organisational and communication skills. The focus of this role is to support the COO with bookkeeping and accounting duties, in addition to assisting the wider team with a variety of office and administrative tasks. We are looking for someone to start in July.
We enjoy a collaborative approach to our work, sharing ideas and responsibility. In this role you will need to plan and prioritise well to meet multiple deadlines and adapt your approach to juggle tasks and priorities across the month. Although we have many established practices in place, we believe this is a great opportunity to have a real impact on both the scope and development of this role, particularly as the business continues to grow.
A key aspect of the role is the finance support, so ideally you will have previous bookkeeping experience (preferably using Xero). The remaining responsibilities relate to the management of the office, including coordinating events and meetings; assisting with health & safety, dealing with office service providers, data and admin management and ad hoc support to the CEO. A willingness to turn your hand to other tasks is an essential part of this role.
