Contract:  Permanent

Salary:  £22,000-£25,000 (incl London Weighting) depending on experience

Working hours:  Full Time (35 hours) or Part Time (28 hours)

Pension:  Workplace Pension

Annual leave:  30 days (pro rata)

Work Location:  Advance Head Office in Hammersmith, travel across London boroughs

Advance is a well-respected, award-winning and innovative women-only organisation, established in 1998, providing emotional and practical support to women experiencing domestic abuse and supporting women with custodial and community sentences to reduce offending. We have expanded our services significantly over the past 2 years, with annual income to over £3.5m and further growth will take our staff team to approximately 90, reaching over 3000 women and their children.  It’s an exciting time to join us.

About you

If you are looking for an opportunity to be part of a brilliant organisation making a real difference to lives of women across London, we want to hear from you.  You will have the chance to work at the heart of the organisation, working closely with the CEO to ensure she is able to maximise use of her time to lead the organisation effectively.  

You will provide a high level of professional support to the CEO and set up and maintain effective administrative systems to enable her office to run efficiently.  You will also contribute to the communications function of Advance, working closely with the CEO, including organising events, overseeing new and existing publicity material, updating and managing Advance’s website and its profile through traditional and social media. 

You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and applying your excellent communication and organisational skills, strong IT skills and proactive approach to deal with internal and external communications, produce high-quality written work, organise and process information and co-ordinate meetings and events.
