We're looking to recruit a Product owner to be responsible for either the requirements analysis, process design, or delivery of a small product and/or project in order realise customer value through excellence and execution. This includes using business analysis skills to identify the business need, analyse requirements, through to assessing/designing/testing, prioritising and implementing agreed solutions.

Want to know more?

  • You'll be accountable for owning the vision for a small product (or product feature of larger product) following business requirements analysis, balancing the needs of customers, partners and risk.
  • You'll be supporting options and resolution of key Business Architecture/Design/Analysis decisions, taking them through Group Design governance.

Key Accountabilities

  • You'll manage the product vision by leading a team to deliver product feature releases.
  • Seek out and considers the voice of the customer when defining priorities and output.
  • Champions the test and learn approach.
  • Responsible for ensuring all decisions are made within a sound risk framework and within Group standards and appetite.
  • Role model behaviours to support the organisations new way of working.
  • Scope of influence external to own area
  • Works in more complex product teams with a cross functional impact
  • Supervision is light and focused on the evaluation of the results achieved.
  • Maximises internal and external network.
  • Negotiates and gains consensus to reach agreement.
  • Demonstrates personal resilience and tenacity in ensuring that high results are consistently achieved.
  • Anticipates, identifies communicates and mitigates risks in a timely manner.

And as for your skills.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of;

  • FATCA and Common Reporting Standards (CRS) tax regulation
  • Be comfortable with understanding the importance of data to ensure outcomes and solve problems - working with large data sets and technologies (Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning)
  • Focus on identifying areas to drive value, ability to creating strong and robust arguments and recommend prioritisation accordingly
  • Open thinking, keen to push the boundaries and looking to join an empowered team is evolving the way it delivers in an Agile way
