The Mayor of London has an ambitious strategy for culture and creative industries in the capital. This role is an opportunity to join the dynamic Culture and Creative Industries Unit, helping to deliver significant economic and social benefits for Londoners. You will be responsible for the development and co-ordination of communications, press and marketing strategy and activity underpinning the Unit’s work. You will work across the Unit, the GLA Group and externally, developing relationships with a range of high-profile stakeholders.

You will have extensive experience of stakeholder engagement and partnership management, and a strong background in communications, press and marketing activities including digital and social media. You will have the highest standard of written skills and be used to devising, researching and editing imaginative content for variety of audiences across platforms, and will be a strong project manager with a track record of delivering results on target and within budget.

This role is offered as a 10-month contract. We encourage secondment applications for this position.
