Purpose of Role

  • Champion the changes we need to drive in Finance by supporting the programmes to develop the right change management approaches, that will ensure that the change in ways of working is sustainable and embedded
  • Support the programmes in planning and executing stakeholder ensuring the change interventions can be localised and address the local requirements/change impact
  • Design and/or deliver the Change Management plans and support the development of the deployment toolkit for the programme teams and market resources to drive successful deployment outcomes
  • Leverage CoE specialists, Diageo exiting solutions and/or suppliers identify the right activities/interventions mitigate the risk of adoption and meets the needs of the impacted stakeholders
  • Work with various Programme stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop the change activities
  • Maintain the Finance Transformation Change Management toolkit; collate artefacts for re-use; leverage best practice within the Programmes and share lessons learned
  • Be the change expert and advisor to the programmes, providing coaching to support development of planning and thinking; advise on approaches, interventions and best practices to accelerate delivery, creating a more agile change approach

Top Accountabilities

  • Understand the broad change requirements across the Programmes, understanding the impact on the various stakeholder groups to be able provide fit for purpose advise and solutions; and a joined-up approach to the recipients of the change
  • Maintain and optimise the Finance Transformation Change Toolkit, utilising best practice change strategies
  • Identify, and maintain the integrity of the Change Champion, Change Agent networks along side the programme teams, to ensure the right change delivery channels are in place
  • Identify stakeholders and understand their role, and/or impact of the change, identifying the appropriate change management interventions.
  • Support the governance, effectiveness assessment and assurance of the various programmes change plans and initiatives, including diagnostics to support corrective action planning
  • To develop an engagement plan and/or tailor the communications materials required to deliver the communication plan to support deployments. This will involve building a strong understanding of the programmes outcomes and deliverables; timelines
  • Design and delivery of agreed in scope change initiatives
  • Track and monitor the effectiveness of the change plan, identifying any key barriers/risks and provide mitigation plans or develop new interventions

Qualifications and experience required

  • Experienced change manager with a strong understanding of corporate functions with a good understanding of both in market and shared services finance processes and ways of working
  • To be able to demonstrate experience of leading the change on a major change programme
  • Have a strong grasp of best practice change methodologies/models and be able to put into practice
  • Effective stakeholder manager with strong influencing skills
  • Ability to work with multiple markets and cultures effectively
  • Be able to manage and influence virtual teams to meet a common goal
  • Ability to engage and motivate others
  • Self-motivated, confident and well organised approach
  • Expertise in implementing changes to ways of working, optimisation, stakeholder management; culture, process, people or expertise in implementing technology-lead changes, such as robotics, analytics
